This all-in-one kit package includes our brodifacoum wax blocks and tamper-resistant bait station for the safe control of rats and mice in and around buildings.

Roshield brings to the market a highly palatable formulation suitable for use in all climatic conditions. Roshield blocks are a ready-for-use bait formulated using high quality culinary grade wheat flour, blended with chopped wheat, other cereals and proteins which are bound together by edible waxes.
The addition of other food grade materials improves palatability and helps with bait shyness and when competing against alternative sources. The incorporation of bio-stats inhibits the growth of both fungi and bacteria should the block be exposed to damp/sewer conditions. Roshield blocks also contains an aroma, giving a unique chocolatey smell.
Can be used in a wide range of areas including kitchens, attics and around buildings.
The size of rodent infestations varies heavily and the quantity of bait required for total control depends on several factors including the size of population, a large infestation will require significantly more bait compared to a smaller less established issue. It is unlikely that a single packet of bait will control an infestation when treating rats.
It is important to follow the instructions and statutory guidelines on the rear of the packet at all times.

High strength control
Roshield wax bait blocks are manufactured by a hot casting process ensuring the wax and other components are intimately mixed together. This process ensures blocks are highly tolerant to humidity and suitable for use both indoors and outdoors. The blocks have a hole through the centre that allows them to be securely fixed in a bait station.
Blocks are the first choice for most professional operators as they can be used within damp environments such as sewers, cellars and external bait stations.

Active ingredient Brodifacoum
Brodifacoum is a single feed rodenticide that can control rats and mice in a single feed, with only a small amount of take. Rats and mice have no known resistance to brodifacoum and hence can be used in areas that have known resistance to other active ingredients.

Kit includes a tamper-resistant bait station
Every kit includes our popular tamper-resistant bait station to prevent children and non-target animals from gaining access to the internal rodenticide, as well as complying with the recent legislation changes to the safe use of rodenticide.
The bait station includes a key for access, bait divider to prevent spillage and a bait rod to securely hold the blocks within the rear chamber.
Instructions are included within the packet however the baiting process is simple and just requires the bait to be threaded onto the bait rod, installed into the box and then placed into the area of infestation. As with all rodenticide placement should only be in or around buildings.
All our boxes are manufactured in the UK using recycled plastics sourced from car bumpers and dashboards.
Qty Required for Control?
The amount of bait required to control an infestation will vary depending on the size of the population, competing food sources and location. It is important to continue baiting until no further take is observed (max 35 days).
As a rough rule we recommend a minimum of 600g to control a standard rat infestation and 300g for a mouse infestation. It is common for more bait to be required.
If you are seeing rodents active within daylight hours this may suggest that a population is larger than you initially think.
A common issue with all rodenticide treatments are under-baiting an active infestation, surveying the area before treatment may indicate if you have a larger infestation (droppings, tunnels etc).
If baiting around competing food sources such as chicken pens we would recommend removing as much of the competing food source before undertaking a rodenticide treatments. Significant more bait maybe required when treating around chickens and similar areas.
