PRE-BAITED MOUSE BOX KIT
Roshield Pre-Baited Mouse Box Kit
Our pre-baited mouse box kit for the control of mice internally is a solution to controlling mice with little preparation required. Every box kit includes 5 black mouse boxes which have been pre-baited with 20g of our popular brodifacoum wax bait block.
Brodifacoum is a single-take rodenticide bait meaning that the mice only have to consume a small amount over 1 feed to obtain a fatal dose.
Simply remove the boxes from the kit and place in area of infestation. We recommend that the boxes are placed in voids away from human habitation, this maybe under the kitchen plinths, under floorboards or within an atticspace. We do not recommend placing boxes in exposed areas such as the hallway or under a chair.
Before placing the baited boxes it is important to identify and address their main food source. If unsure store all open food packaging in wall cupboards or tubs, clean the catchment trays of toasters and remove any exposed pet food overnight.
A key is also included which allows the user to open the box to inspect the bait and if necessary re-bait the box.
Once the mouse infestation is under control the boxes can be safely stored for future use or doubled bagged and added to general waste.
Professional Quality Rodenticide
High strength control
Roshield wax bait blocks are manufactured by a hot casting process ensuring the wax and other components are intimately mixed together. This process ensures blocks are highly tolerant to humidity and suitable for use both indoors and outdoors. The blocks have a hole through the centre that allows them to be securely fixed in a bait station.
Blocks are the first choice for most professional operators as they can be used within damp environments such as sewers, cellers and external bait stations.
- For use indoors (HSE: UK-2016-0997-0006)

Baiting for mice within houses
Mouse control can be difficult and should not be underestimated. When controlling mice we recommend that you carry out a site survey of the infestation area to highlight what the mice are feeding on and any possible habitation areas. Instructions are included within the kit that will help you identify these areas.
Eliminating the food source is extremely important otherwise mice will not look for alternative food sources and may result in rejection of the boxes or a delay in the success of the treatment.
When baiting for mice boxes should be placed in areas away from human habitation. Examples would include baiting under kitchen plinths, under floorboards, voids, airing cupboards and preferably within attic spaces. Placing bait in the open such as a living room may result in the mice rejecting the bait.
Boxes should be baited with 1 or 2 pasta sachets or blocks and checked at regular periods. Boxes should be replenished as required. Always read and comply with the product label.
Boxes & wax blocks are manufactured in the UK
We understand the costs of the environment and have taken steps to minimise the transportation and material wastage in the creation of our boxes and rodenticide formulation. All our black Roshield bait boxes are manufactured in the UK using recycled plastics sourced from car bumpers and dashboards. Waste plastic is reintroduced back into the manufacturing process.
As we make the boxes in the UK we eliminate transportation costs from importing abroad, which results in a lower carbon footprint.
Our Roshield brodifacoum wax blocks are sourced from a range of cereals grown by British farmers in the UK, and the manufacturing process is undertaken solely in the UK.
We dispatch all our boxes within recycled cardboard boxes, which can also be recycled at the majority of kerbside collections.
