The Roshield vent cover has been designed to be placed over air bricks to prevent the ingress of pests to internal building cavities, a standard method of entry before an infestation starts. Our vents are used within the professional pest control industry.

Mice can often access tiny holes, often around 6-7mm or the thickness of a pencil; this can cause an issue as buildings often have a perimeter of air bricks with similar-sized holes to allow airflow to prevent dampness. Mice and other simar-sized pests will often access air bricks and are a common first entry point to a building. Pest-proofing covers are designed to be placed over the top of the holes to prevent access whilst still allowing suitable airflow.

Available in two sizes to cover the majority of typical vent sizes, including small/standard 254mm x 102mm and medium 254mm x 180mm. The vents are available in four colours, including black, dark grey, brown and white.

Installation is straightforward and can be installed with either screws or adhesive. A feature of the vent is the useful adhesive track on the rear of the cover, this allows for a larger bead to be applied and a better contact surface area to the wall.

Our vent cover is suitable for preventing a wide range of rodents, birds, crawling insects and flying insects, including wasps and bees. It’s essential that any installation is undertaken either pre or post-infestation; the covers are not recommended to be installed during active issues, especially for rats, as they can damage the plastic surround to gain entry.
