Entopest Eradisect Smoke Generator
Insect control treatment
Used as part of a wider IPM approach – IPM is abbreviated as Integrated Pest Management and means a broad-based approach that integrates practices for the control of pests. Insecticidal smoke should be considered an important part of this process, but not as the sole treatment method.
Our Smoke bombs have been designed to help with the process of killing adult flying or crawling insects at time of a specific treatment, but without leaving any residue that remain harmful to the users post-treatment. They are a perfect solution for when treating inside domestic and commercial properties.
Insecticide smoke control will not control established infestations, larvae or eggs on its own but rather it has been designed as a complimenting treatment. Once activated the smoke will fill an area upto a maximum 120 m3 killing all insects that are active at the time of treatment. Additional processes including the use of surface sprays maybe required for established infestations, especially fleas or bed bugs as they can be difficult to control.
Smoke treatments are highly recommended for the control of cluster flies and flying insects and in many cases no additional steps are required for total control. Treatment should be undertaken in the evening after dusk.
When treating in sensitive locations such as a kitchen all food products should be removed from the treatment area.
Treatment coverage:
- Flying insects – 1 smoke generator treats 120 m3
- Fleas / bed bugs – 1 smoke generator treats 30 m3
- Ants / cockroaches – 1 smoke generator treats 7.50 m3
Insecticide smoke is unlikely to control spiders and will have little to no effect on cellar spiders that are common in sheds and attics.
