25 x Common Clothes Moth Pheromone PadsPheromone moth pads are used to locate, monitor and control emerging Common Clothes Moth (Tineola bisselliella) infestations.This listing is for 10 x Tineola bisselliella pads for our Entopest and other similar sized moth hangers.Every pad measures 133mm x 60mm.The pheromone pads will attract the male Common Clothes Moth (Tineola bisselliella) only. Please do not purchase this kit to control other moth species, as the pheromone on the pads has been specifically created for Tineola bisselliella only.Please check beforehand that you have the correct species; we offer a free ID service if you are unsure.Hows do the pads work?A sex pheromone slowly leaks from the pad attracting the male Tineola bisselliella. The moth lands on or near the pheromone adhesive pad.By attracting the male moth to the pads, you break the infestation’s lifecycle, which helps control emerging infestations.Will this control my infestation?For small infestations, the pads are an excellent way to stop the breeding cycle.It is unlikely that full control will be gained from using just pheromone in medium and large infestations. We always recommend using an insecticide to quicken the treatment process.Do I have the correct species?Tineola bisselliella are golden in colour and approximately 5mm in length.Will this control other species of moth?The pheromone has been known to catch Case-bearing Clothes moth (Tinea pellionella). However, we are unable to guarantee their success due to mixed results within testing.
