Used by professionals within the UK to monitor and control emerging Indian Meal Moth (Plodia interpunctella) infestations. The sex pheromone has been chemically reproduced to attract the male moths which in turn breaks the life-cycle of the problem.
Our kits include Hangers and pheromone pads for attracting active male moths (please see title for qty included within kit title) as well as a range of replacement refills and trap holders.
Moth pheromone has not been designed as the sole control solution for moths and we recommend that they are used in combination with other methods such as insecticide treatments especially within large infestations.
The pheromone trap will attract the male Indian Meal Moth (Plodia interpunctella) only. Please do not purchase to control other moths as the pheromone has been specifically created for this species, please see the below photos for identification.

Sex pheromones are released by the female moth to attract the Indian Meal Moth male (Plodia interpunctella) for reproduction.
This pheromone has been carefully artificially reproduced and impregnated within the glue on our pads.
The pads when placed within an active infestation will attract the active males and prevent them from mating.
Pheromone traps should not be considered as the sole treatment method. For established infections use the traps in combination with our insecticide kits.
