The included pheromone pads can be used as a primary method to locate infestations within kitchens, monitor control treatments as well as prevent new emerging infestations. This kit includes 1 pack of 10 pheromone pads and 5 clear trap hangers
PHEROMONE CONTROL – The included Entopest pads emit an artificial sex pheromone (lure) to attract male moths to the adhesive board. Attracting male moths break the insect lifecycle and subsequently helps to monitor, prevent and control infestations. Pheromone is an important method in moth treatments but should not be considered the sole application; especially for established issues. Pheromone lasts for 12 weeks before replacement is required
MOTH SPECIES SPECIFIC – The integrated pheromone will only work with the Indian Meal Moth (Plodia interpunctella). Limited success can be found with close family species Plodia and Esphestia, but this is not guaranteed. This pheromone will not work with any other species of moth.
