	Birdgo 10 x Standard Stainless Steel Springs for Bird Post & Wire Ledge Control Systems - Keeps Pigeon Wire Under Tension SPRINGS FOR POST & WIRE SYSTEMS – Birdgo stainless steel springs are made specifically for tensioning wire between posts on an anti-pigeon control system. The springs firmly hold the wire under tension, allowing for flexibility and sagging in temperature fluctuations and wire movement by determined birds. Without springs in place, the bird wire system will lose tension over time, failing to deter unwanted birds. INSTALLATION OF SPRINGS – Springs are a critical component in installing bird wire systems, and every run section should contain at least 1 spring. The spring should be attached directly to the post whilst the other end to the wiring system and held firmly using a bird wire crimp. Springs should be placed under tension when installing the wire. IMPORTANT CRIMP INFORMATION – The springs are manufactured from high quality 316 stainless steel. Springs are suitable for pigeon wire installations only. Springs should be installed under tension to allow the 0.7mm wire to remain rigid; the only exception is when using surface pads installed with adhesive where light tension only should be used.
