PREVENT RODENT ACCESS – Our galvanised 6mm wire mesh has been explicitly designed to act as a physical barrier to stop pest rodents, including mice, rats and squirrels, from gaining access to properties through gaps and voids in walls. Mesh is a vital proofing material to prevent re-infestation.
VERSITILE IN DESIGN – Proofing mesh has a wide range of uses, including placement on the front of air bricks, around pipework or any other hole or gaps that might allow rodent ingress. Our proofing mesh is also used widely around soffits to prevent squirrels and birds access.
USED BY PROFESSIONALS – Roshield proofing mesh has been designed for the professional industry and comes in handy 300mm rolls suitable for placing within a technician’s bag. The roll can easily be carried around a site, taken within a confined area or up a ladder.

Roshield Rodent Proofing Mesh

Mesh to prevent rat, squirrel and mouse ingress
Used by professionals to stop rats, squirrels and mice from gaining entry to specific location.

Rodents can not enter through the small 6mm² mesh holes and hence this proofing method method is highly recommended to prevent a return.

Can be used in front of air bricks and other larger vent openings, around pipe work and/or any other location that requires physical proofing.

Recommended to be installed post-treatment of any control undertaken.

Manufactured from galvanised material. Not recommended for use within coastal environments as will rust.
How to install:

We advice that any present rat or mouse infestations are eliminated before undertaking any rodent proofing measures.

Survey the proofing area looking for both entrance holes at ground level as well as higher points around the roof line.

Simply cut as required and install around voids, air bricks and other rodent ingress points. Heavy duty scissors are required.

Installation fixings not included but we generally recommend using either a strong silicone adhesive or self tapping screws, subject to requirement.

EASY TO USE

The wire mesh can be cut with a strong pair of scissors or tin snips and can be shaped to fit around the profile of the area being protected. No fixings are included with the kit. Mesh can be used within both internal and external environments.

Manual

Roshield rodent proofing mesh covers must not cover air bricks or vents used for the ventilation of gas appliances. Restriction or even blocking airflow can increase the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning.
