BRODIFACOUM BAIT BLOCK – STRONGEST AVAILABLE ONLINE
Roshield Brodifacoum Bait Blocks
Single feed alternative for rats and mice resistant to other rodenticides
A highly palatable formulation is suitable for use in all climatic conditions. Roshield Brodifacoum Blocks are a ready-for-use bait formulated using high-quality culinary grade wheat flour, blended with chopped wheat, other cereals, and proteins bound together by edible waxes. Other food-grade materials improve palatability compared to other extruded or cast blocks, ensuring excellent bait take. The incorporation of bio-stats inhibits the growth of both fungi and bacteria should the block be exposed to damp/sewer conditions. Roshield Brodifacoum Blocks also contains an aroma, giving a unique chocolatey smell. Roshield Brodifacoum Blocks is manufactured by a hot casting process, ensuring the wax and other components are intimately mixed. This process ensures blocks are highly tolerant to humidity and suitable for use both indoors and outdoors. The blocks have a hole through the centre that allows them to be securely fixed in a bait station.
The amount of bait required to control an infestation will vary massively depending on the size of the population; however, as a rough guide, between 900g-1.2kg will be satisfactory.
Whilst brodifacoum is an extremely toxic bait; it is important to note that other formulations such as Roshield Bromadiolone Blocks should initially be considered before using this poison as satisfactory control will be obtained in the majority of cases. Brodifacoum, if not baited correctly, can lead to bait shyness and future rejection of all baits.
If you are based in or around the city or Reading or within Kent & East Sussex, we recommend using brodifacoum bait immediately due to localised resistance.
Supplied in packs of 300g.
Professional Quality Blocks
High strength control
Roshield wax bait blocks are manufactured by a hot casting process, ensuring the wax and other components are intimately mixed. This process ensures blocks are highly tolerant to humidity and suitable for use both indoors and outdoors. In addition, the blocks have a hole through the centre that allows them to be securely fixed in a bait station.
Blocks are the first choice for most pro operators as they can be used within damp environments such as sewers, cellars and external bait stations.

Qty Required for Control?
The amount of bait required to control an infestation will vary depending on the size of the population, competing for food sources and location. Therefore, it is important to continue baiting until no further take is observed (max 35 days).
As a rough rule, we recommend a minimum of 600g to control a standard rat infestation and 300g for a mouse infestation. However, it is common for more bait to be required.
If you see rodents active within daylight hours, this may suggest that a larger population than you initially think.
A common issue with all rodenticide treatments is under-baiting an active infestation; surveying the area before treatment may indicate if you have a larger infestation (droppings, tunnels etc.).
If baiting around competing for food sources such as chicken pens, we recommend removing as much of the competing food source before undertaking a rodenticide treatment. Significant more bait may be required when treating around chickens and similar areas.
Rodent Bait Station Required
Due to recent changes in rodenticide regulations, all non-professional operators must use a tamper-resistant bait station when using rodenticide for rats and mice – this is a condition for all UK & EU registered products.
This listing does not include this bait station; however, a wide range of box kits, including our top-rated Roshield Baiter stations that include a large bait rod that can hold more than 10 blocks, are available.
Roshield Baiter stations are suitable for both rats and mice and can be used in at-risk environments such as around pets and other animals.
Smaller single block boxes are available for internal mouse control. This is recommended as mice generally prefer to eat from multiply food sources.
For an average rat infestation, we recommend the installation of 2 bait stations per infestation/garden. For larger areas, additional stations will be required.
