RAT KILLER PASTA POISON SACHETS – STRONGEST AVAILABLE ONLINE
Roshield Rascal Difenacoum Pasta Bait
The most popular rodent poison sold in the UK – tried & tested by thousands of professional & non-professional operators.
Ready-to-use bait is used in tamper-resistant bait stations to control rats and mice in and around buildings.
Roshield Pasta Bait is highly palatable and effective against all pest rodents. In addition, its high energy content makes it the preferred formulation in cold situations or where rodents have declined to accept other baits.
It can be used in a wide range of areas, including kitchens, attics and gardens (bait station required).
The size of rodent infestations varies heavily, and the quantity of bait required for total control depends on several factors, including the size of the population; a significant infestation will require significantly more bait than a more minor, less established bait issue. Therefore, it is unlikely that a single packet of bait will control an infestation when treating rats.
It is essential to follow the instructions and statutory guidelines on the rear of the packet at all times.
Contains: Difenacoum 0.0025% w/w & denatonium benzoate 0.001% w/w. (HSE Approved UK-2016-0995-0009)
Every pack contains 150g
Professional Quality Pasta Sachets
High strength control
Pasta Bait is a ready-for-use bait formulated using a blend of high-quality culinary grade wheat flour, chopped grain, soft lard and synthetic peanut flavouring to produce a high calorie, high energy feed. In addition, the use of artificial peanut flavourings allows the product to be used in sensitive situations where products containing nuts would not be authorised for use.
Taste adjuvants and flavours help to improve bait ‘take’, and stabilising agents prevent oxidation.
- Approved for use indoors and outdoor around buildings
- Can be used by professionals and non-professional operators
- Controls both rats & mice
- Sachets have a nominal weight of 10g (15 per 150g pack)
Active ingredient Difenacoum
Difenacoum is an anticoagulant rodenticide also known as a super-warfarin for its added potency and control over rats and mice.
This type of bait is considered multi-feed which is the recommended treatment procedure for long-term and total population control.
Difenacoum is generally considered the main active ingredient for professional operators.
We do not recommend using this bait within the Reading area due to local resistance.
- Difenacoum 0.0025% w/w
- denatonium benzoate 0.001% w/w.
- HSE Approved UK-2016-0995-0009

Qty Required for Control?
The amount of bait required to control an infestation will vary depending on the size of the population, competing for food sources and location. Therefore, it is essential to continue baiting until no further take is observed (max 35 days).
As a rough rule, we recommend a minimum of 600g to control a common rat infestation and 300g for a mouse infestation. However, it is common for more bait to be required.
If you see rodents active within daylight hours, this may suggest that a population is more significant than you initially thought.
An issue with all rodenticide treatments is under-baiting an active infestation; surveying the area before treatment may indicate if you have a more significant infestation (droppings, tunnels etc.).
If baiting around competing for food sources such as chicken pens, we recommend removing as much of the competing food source before undertaking a rodenticide treatment. Significant more bait may be required when treating around chickens and similar areas.
Rodent Bait Station Required
Due to recent changes in rodenticide regulations, all non-professional operators must use a tamper-resistant bait station when using rodenticide for rats and mice – this is a condition for all UK & EU registered products.
This listing does not include this bait station; however, a wide range of box kits, including our top-rated Roshield Baiter stations with a large bait rod that can hold more than 15 pasta sachets, are available.
Roshield Baiter stations are suitable for rats and mice and can be used in at-risk environments such as around pets and other animals.
Smaller single block boxes are available for internal mouse control. This is recommended as mice generally prefer to eat from multiply food sources.
For an average rat infestation, we recommend the installation of 2 bait stations per infestation/garden. For larger areas, additional stations will be required.
